Horner Released From Hospital

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

President Horner was released from Massachusetts General Hospital last Friday after a 24-day stay following a February 19 accident, hospital officials said yesterday.

The Radcliffe president suffered multiple fractures of the femur (upper leg bone) while getting out of car at Logan Airport.

She had hoped to spend her six-month sabbatical traveling and doing research on cross-generational and between-sex relations and how they affect global issues. Her mishap has forced her to cancel a trip to France and Germany, she said earlier this month.

Horner could not be reached for commment yesterday.
