Due to a reporting error, a December 11 story on page one entitled "Study Calls for More Law School Grants" incorrectly stated that the Committee on Student Services and the Quality of Life has prepared a confidential report for the dean of the Law School. Although the committee has gathered information on the benefits of grants vs. loans, it has yet to complete a report.

Due to a production error, a December 6 story on page three entitled "UMass Students Protest Anti-CIA Rally" was mistakenly accompanied by an irrelevant photo. The photo of protesters at a Harvard rally against British Opposition Leader Neil Kinnock should not have been placed alongside the UMass story.
