He scored a team-high 18 points in the contest, including 10 in the second half, to power Harvard (5-15 overall, 1-7 Ivy) to its first league victory of the year.
The 6-ft., 5-in. Phillips leads the men cagers with an 11.9 points-per-game average, and has paced the squad in scoring in 10 of its 20 contests. His mark of 5.8 rebounds per game is also tops on the team.
