‘The Architect of the Whole Plan’: Harvard Law Graduate Ken Chesebro’s Path to Jan. 6
To the Editors of The Crimson:
Speaking as a holder of three degrees from Harvard, I was ashamed of the performance of the Harvard Band this morning in the annual April 19th parade in Concord.
First, they played only Harvard football songs, at least during the two long intervals while we were watching. They had, apparently, forgotten that April 19th 1775, was the occasion being commemorated, not the last Yale game. Or maybe they just don't know anything else.
Second, and worse, they played badly. Just plain badly. They were off-pitch and off-rhythm more often than not. Maybe it's just as well they did play only Harvard songs--anything more familiar might have drawn the boos from the crowd they deserved. Frankly, the small boys from the Fenn School who came next were better in every respect. Lydia A. Smith
