Due to a writing error, an editorial column in the Sept. 28 edition of The Crimson, "A Return to Racial Sensitivity" by Michael J. Bonin, misrepresented the views of Camille Holmes '89. While Holmes said she feels the University is responsible for the problems with the Afro-American Studies Department and the low number of minority faculty, she recognizes the University has made efforts to address these problems.

The column incorrectly stated that the students who broke a window in Currier House two years ago also called the bell's desk to identify themselves as "the negro hit squad." The call was made by a student unconnected with breaking the window.
