LIVE UPDATES: Pro-Palestine Protesters Begin Encampment in Harvard Yard

The Spotted Owl Crowd at The Crimson

By Mark J. Sneider

While I join the majority in commending Michael Berry and encouraging other improvements in the Harvard dining experience, I strongly disagree with their endorsement of his "environmental crusade."

As a resident of Eliot House, I have experienced first hand the ravages inflicted by the Spotted Owl Crowd.

When residents learned that Eliot had joined Berry's totalitarian campaign to remove paper cups from Harvard's dining halls, we protested. And within 24 hours, the cups were returned to a jubilant dining hall. Score one for the Convenience Crowd.

But don't worry.

We'll plant a tree in Berry's honor.
