Facing the possibility of a four-game losing streak and playing the team with which it shared last season's Ivy title, Brown and Beckett came up large. Beckett's goal, off a scramble in front of Yale's net, was scored at 63:51 of the contest. Brown went on to win, 2-0, and now faces Connecticut, Princeton and Virginia.
