A front page caption in Yesterday's newspaper misidentified the person pictured. The picture was of Burbank Professor of Political Economy Dwight H. Perkins.

A front-page article in Friday's newspaper was in error. The article, about a student's allegation of recially motivated mistreatment by Harvard police, incorrectly characterized the contents of a police report on the incident. The police report does not state, as was reported, that Inati Ntshanga '95 immediately identified himself when police found him working in the HSA linen room in the Matthews Hall Basement. In fact, the police report says that Ntshanga did not give officers his name until after he had been read his rights. Ntshanga disputed that account in an interview, saying that he told officers whom he was and what he was doing in the Matthews basement almost immediately. The Crimson apologizes for the error.
