Thirty Attend PUCC's First Meeting In Adams House

More than 30 students gathered in Adams House last night to learn about the platform of a new group dedicated to reforming the Undergraduate Council.

Students in the Progressive Undergraduate Council Coalition (PUCC), which formed last spring, hope to change the council by shifting its focus toward student concerns, including Core reform.

PUCC leaders said they would endorse meeting attendees who chose to run for the council this fall.

They offered to provide candidates with position statements and to help make posters for their houses or the Yard.

This fall's elections will be held October 3-6. All students who wish to run must submit their names by September 27.

PUCC will be tabling for more support outside of Widener Library tomorrow from 10 a.m. 4 p.m..
