Coming off a layoff for the exam period. Harvard returned to action Monday night in a 90-76 loss to Lehigh.
The Crimson started slugglishly, finishing the first half behind by nine, 47-38. Lehigh shot a blistering .500 field-goal percentage in the first half.
Junior Allison Feaster led the Crimson with 17 points, but only two came in the first half, contributing to the defecit at the half. No Harvard player reached double-digits in the first, while Lehigh had three players reach that plateau.
This pattern continued for the rest of the game as Harvard had only three players reaching double-digits while Lehigh had five.
Lehigh's attack was led by forward Jen Hendrix who shot 10-for-14 from the floor for a total of 24 points. Moria Deakin and Kelly Collins both chipped in 15 points each.
Co-captain Kelly Black had 13 points for Harvard. Jessica Gelman added 12. Feaster also added ten rebounds.
