Elizabeth dreams big. She has huge plans for FM—grand CMYK-perfecting, status quo-changing plans for our lovable mag. Eliz has been preparing for this since she was a high school senior drooling over FM online. After writing about everything under the sun, she’s ready for her turn to lead.

Jannie S. Tsuei '06 [co-chair]

Jannie is widely perceived as being “too nice.” In actuality, Jannie is that nice—but she is also the reason FM's efficiency has increased. Jannie juggles writers, photogs and designers with ease and an excess of enthusiasm. Her spirit was only slightly dampened when she was sick in UHS. Even then, she offered to come in and help. With crazy loyalty like that, FM is in good hands.

Evan R. Johnson '06 [publisher]

Evan was once a hard-core sports writer and editor, but found his true calling in the 20 lovely pages we call FM. As Publisher, he’ll be working photographers and designers to get this rag all purdy-like and make production night run smoothly. And for that, FM is grateful.

Caitlin B. McKee '06 [muse]

Fresh off a year of designing this page of FM and so many others, Caitlin will bring her eye for the perfect glance box and the ideal cover design (plus her drawing talents) to the FM executive board next year. Don’t get in this Creative Director’s way as she pushes through with plans to make every page fan-freaking-tastic.

Meghan M. Dolan '06 [associate]

Meghan is the author of some of the past year’s more memorable profiles—including a one-man frat and a first-year who prefers studying in the elevator to the library. FM’s crystal ball forecasts wittier headlines, better article ideas and many fun Tuesday nights with Meghan on board. Plus, we think she’s hott.

Stephen M. Fee '07 [associate]

Stephen looks for the untold story—those of a WWII German soldier, Native American students and tenured female faculty. When he was a mere frosh, his older sister warned him against writing for the Crim—except for FM. We’re thankful for the exception and thrilled that this wickedly funny but thoughtful writer is now an editor.

Annie M. Lowrey '06 [associate]

Despite being misrepresented as Anne M. Lowrey multiple times, Annie stuck with the mag. Her encyclopedic knowledge of popular culture, love for gonzo journalism (hint:: it has nothing to do with Muppets) and relentless pursuit of aesthetic perfection won FM over at first sight. We’re glad to know the feeling is mutual.

Leon Neyfakh '07 [associate]

An incisive journalist with a sardonic sense of humor and a love for the party life, former newsie Leon will fit in perfectly with his new FM family. Leon is so hip he forewent a Crimson party to rock out with his band. The mag will be closer to finding its sharp, quirky essence with Leon on board.

Adam P. Schneider '07 [associate]

Not only does Adam have impeccable dress sense, he spent this semester in the cool-kid central of Paris, having adventures with Cristal and the French police (see his endpaper “French Toasted”). Having been published in Hustler, Adam will bring his sense of scandal to FM’s weekly grind.

A. Haven Thompson '07 [associate]

When a certain female social club tried to get Haven to restrict her dress to two choice colors, Haven wouldn’t have it. “How am I supposed to express myself with such a limited palette?” she asked. Future FTM writers who have the pleasure of working with this box-defying thinker will surely benefit from her unflagging creativity.

Alexa J. Bush '07 [co-photo czar]

Thank goodness we successfully stole Alexa from her role as Arts junior photo exec—she’ll dedicate her VES eye and Diversity & Distinction experience to making the mag sparkle. Those studio photos from last spring’s male vanity scrut? All Alexa. No, you can’t commission photos from her—but you can ask her for her number.

Ravi P. Ramchandani '07 [co-photo czar]

As one of the superstar junior execs this year, Ravi helped ensure that every ITM had a photo—several photos even. He’s got the smooth attitude FM requires and the careful perfectionism FM wants. Will he dance with a moving Santa on production nights? Demand Viking hats be included in every issue? That has yet to be determined.

Kelly M. Fahl '06 [designer]

It’s not the easiest task to make the page you’re looking at appear fabulous. Luckily, incoming designer Kelly is more than up to the task. Combining an unmistakable Carolina charm with an eye for sexy pages and eye-catching graphics, Kelly is a shot of southern comfort that will keep y’all coming back to FM every Thursday.
