The Pioneers (9-3, 4-1 EIVA) snapped the Crimson’s four-match winning streak with a 3-1 (30-21, 28-30, 30-23, 31-29) win at the Pitt Center in Fairfield, Conn. Outside hitters Doug Soviero and Michael Burns paced Sacred Heart, with 26 and 24 kills respectively.
Harvard’s attack was led by junior outside hitter Will Reppun who posted 17 kills and sophomore opposite Seamus McKiernan who added 14. Freshman setter Dave Fitz chipped in 42 assists, while junior libero Juan Ramos led the team with 10 digs.
