UPSET OF THE YEAR, RUNNER-UP: Women's Squash 5, Trinity 4

February 3, 2005

Trinity never knew what hit it.

The Bantams boasted a No. 2 national ranking and a three-year winning streak over Harvard heading into the squads’ Feb. 3 matchup. The Crimson was talented but untested, with three rookies in its top five.

But the seniors wanted to make their last shots count, and in front of a packed Murr Center, Harvard eked out a 5-4 upset of the Bantams.

“They’re a huge rival,” said senior Stephanie Hendricks. “And we were the underdogs—we really didn’t have anything to lose.”
