1) Freshman Formal Ends Early: “The annual freshmen formal came to an abrupt close Friday night when the venue’s staff, citing high intoxication levels among formal attendees, decided to end the event one hour early.”

2) Harvard’s Men’s Hockey Beats Boston University: The Men’s Hockey team defeats Boston University to come in 3rd place in the Beanpot.

Cheer on Men’s and Women’s Fencing in the Beanpot as they both take on BC and Brandeis at 5:30 p.m. at MIT!

Herbie Hancock’s Norton Lecture Series continues today at 4 p.m. in Sanders Theatre. The second lecture in his 6-part series, it’s entitled “Breaking the Rules.”

For those of us who are creative and thinking about applying to the Deans’ Design Challenge: Urban Life 2030, the Harvard i-lab is hosting a workshop from 6 to 8 p.m. called “How to Create a Winning Proposal.”
