OBAMA WINS IN HISTORIC RACE
Illinois Democrat, Harvard Law School graduate becomes nation's first black president

Shaheen Wins N.H. Senate Seat

Harvard Law School has only produced one: the vaguely remembered, relatively inconsequential Rutherford B. Hayes, who was elected in 1876.In order to assess what implications an Obama win—or loss—would have for the United States after this historic election, The Crimson interviewed several professors and students who study issues in and around the black community.Even in the midst of a heated election season, the Dems are never too busy campaigning to have a little fun.On Tuesday, the least reliable age group in American politics may finally make its presence known.Student activists from both sides have remained energetic in the days leading up to the election—particularly those from battleground states who feel that their efforts might have an outsized influence on the outcome of the election.Even students who took time off to work for the Clinton campaign flocked to support Obama—and Democrats across the country have followed suit.
