But What Is Life Without Email?

No, your phone isn’t broken—getting less than a hundred emails a day is normal. This is what breaks are meant to feel like! But if you realize you’ve already started missing the constant notifications, we at Flyby have compiled a list of things you can do to remedy your email withdrawal.

1. Like and comment on your friends’ photos on Facebook—all of them, including ones from four years back. Clearly, there is no such thing as too many notifications.

2. Send all of your suitemates care packages—even if they won’t get the notification email now, you know you’ve done your part to make up for the dearth of emails for the past bunch of days.

3. Snapchat, Snapchat, Snapchat—soon, everyone will be so sick of opening pictures of you having fun in warmer climates.

4. Take up a hobby—apparently, this is a strategy people with free time often employ.

5. Have your siblings set lots of timers around your house—the time you would’ve spent opening up your emails can now replaced by running around your house looking for where the timers were hid. Hey, it counts as results-driven exercise: almost as satisfying as getting to inbox zero.
