BATTLE LINES
Harvard faced off against Brown Friday night in the Crimson’s home opener under the lights. Last year, the Bears edged out Harvard, so Friday’s 24-21 win was redemption for the Crimson squad.
FACE OFF
Last season, Harvard finished 6-1 in Ivy League play, as did Brown. The co-Ivy League champions kicked off their league seasons Friday under the lights at Harvard Stadium.
LIGHT ’EM UP
In just the third iteration of the Friday Night Lights game, Harvard held off a late-game comeback attempt by Brown and held onto the 24-21 victory over the Bears.
BARK WITH THEIR BITE
Senior Derrick Barker had four tackles Friday night, and classmate Jon Takamura had an interception in the fourth quarter.play pass breakup of his own, as the Harvard secondary shut down Brown’s receivers.
