Whether you've already sent your valentines or wish the holiday didn't exist at all, spoil yourself, your friends, and your lover(s) this Feb. 14 with these love-inspired treats! Unlike those shiny red boxes of heart-shaped chocolates, these delicious recipes won't cost you a dime.

Let's Stay Together

Ingredients:

1 apple

3 tablespoons peanut butter

1 handful dried cranberries

Slice apple in half and scoop out center. Fill the scooped out halves with peanut butter and dried cranberries. Stick the two halves back together.

Heart-beet Salad

Ingredients:

1 cup mixed greens

4 beet slices, cut into heart shapes

1 tablespoon raspberry vinaigrette

Place mixed greens in a bowl. Top with heart-shaped beet slices. Drizzle with raspberry vinaigrette.

Love on Top

Ingredients:

1 cone, filled with vanilla frozen yogurt

2 tablespoons assorted colorful cereal

Chocolate sauce

Fill cone with vanilla frozen yogurt. Place cereal pieces on frozen yogurt and drizzle with chocolate sauce.
