The tally of more than 360,000 living Harvard alumni grew by roughly 7,500 as undergraduate and graduate students from every school of the University marched in Thursday’s Commencement ceremonies.

The Harvard-Radcliffe Rugby Football Club bypassed traditional forms of fundraising by creating a method of raising money unique to their athleticism: moving. Calling themselves "Radcliffe Movers," members of the Women's Rugby team will work in groups of two and three people to assist students as they move boxes and furniture out of their dorms and into house storage facilities. "We get off-season lifting workouts, you get your stuff moved," reads the tagline on the Radcliffe Movers sign-up form.

Swimmers from across the Boston area competed on Saturday to raise money for cancer research, at a Swim Across America fundraising event at Blodgett Pool.

The Harvard College Democrats set up a booth outside the Science Center on Wednesday where members of the Harvard community and passersby could throw pies in volunteer's faces. Children enjoyed activities like origami, calligraphy, and dragon face paint at a carnival on Sunday, intended to bring adopted Chinese children in the U.S. together for a day of fun while raising money to help a boy in a Chinese orphanage.

One World, a charity concert benefiting victims of famine in the Horn of Africa and of floods in Pakistan, was held in Memorial Church on Friday night.
