As two rivals butted heads in a championship rematch, football devotees and neophytes, Giants fans and Patriots die-hards gathered across campus to bear witness to the unfolding of Super Bowl XLVI—an event which ultimately left Giants supporters and Patriots detractors triumphant while Pats fans were disappointed yet again.

As the June 2012 start date for the renovation of Old Quincy approaches, administrators announced that they will create a life-sized “mock-ups” of a room in renovated Old Quincy.

Over the summer, contractors installed seven new windows—each with different designs, costs, and mechanisms—in Old Quincy in preparation for the mass renovation of the building scheduled to begin in June 2012 as part of the House renewal process.
