The Harvard softball team split its doubleheader against Dartmouth on Sunday in Hanover, N.H.

The Crimson registered a come-from-behind, 2-1 win in game two.

The win marks Harvard’s ninth shutout of the season and the 24th shutout of Brown’s four-year career.

Heading into the final weekend of conference play, many Harvard teams are still in contention for the title and/or a berth to the NCAA tournament.

The Crimson swept Brown in two games on Saturday to clinch the North Division title for the third year in a row.

After beating Brown (8-20, 5-9 Ivy) by a combined tally of 35-4 in four games last year, the Harvard softball team snuck by the Bears, 2-1, in both of Friday’s home contests. Still, the wins clinched the North Division title and a spot in the Ivy Championship Series for the Crimson (26-11, 13-1).

Due to forecasts predicting nasty weather towards the end of the week, Harvard’s schedule has been rearranged, and the team will have a chance at clinching as early as Saturday.
