If you've ever been kicked out of Lamont Library at 10 p.m. on a Friday night, a survey conducted by the UC Student Life Committee may be the answer to your library woes. The survey, which has already received 1,500 responses, asks for student input on whether undergraduates would utilize Lamont Library were it to extend its hours.

Top College administrators expressed concerns about a perceived rise in the number of limited enrollment courses this semester at Wednesday’s Committee on Undergraduate Education meeting.

The Undergraduate Council voted on Monday to adopt a new event calendar website, Eventplease, as its platform for announcing upcoming events.

The Undergraduate Council announced that its new Loans Pilot Program—an initiative which will enable the Council to bankroll more student-run programming—will go live starting this week.

The event, which UC President Danny P. Bicknell ’13 had been planning since last semester, is part of the UC’s continued effort to increase student voice on campus and give undergraduates a larger stake in the University’s governance.

Although few students attended the first two events of the Undergraduate Council’s new program “UC Outings,” UC representatives said they hope to further develop the program.

The College will convene a task force of students, staff, and faculty to examine the role of student input on Harvard policies, the Undergraduate Council announced in an email to the student body on Thursday.
