Students explore the wetu, built in honor of the 360th anniversary of the Charter for the Harvard Indian College, in Harvard Yard after an inauguration ceremony yesterday.

Harvard University Dining Services staff prepare the day’s meals in the kitchen that serves both Mather and Dunster Houses. HUDS has offered students the opportunity to take “green” tours of the kitchens. Additional tours will be conducted on April 1 and April 23 at 3 p.m.

The Most Important Meal Of The Day: FlyBy Does Brain Break (Part 2)

Tonight’s squash assortment didn’t quite hit the spot? Boca burger suddenly lost its appeal? Lunch’s centerpiece doesn’t look as appealing six hours later? Brain Break’s got you covered. In this four-part series, FlyBy will dish out the details of each House’s Brain Break so that you know where to go when dinner’s 8-cut jerk chicken wasn’t you were looking for. Round 2: Mather vs. Dunster vs. Leverett

Residents of Dunster House, equipped with shirts and signs, gather at the entrance of Annenberg Dining Hall yesterday to greet future Dunster residents of the Class of 2013.

In the Houses: Late Night Snacks

Crimson staff photographer Aleah C. Bowie explores the House Grilles, which provide tasty (albeit unhealthy) late-night sustenance to students hard at work (or, on weekends, hard at play).

Grille Workers

All of the House Grilles–including Pfoho’s, not pictured–are student run. Kathryn Albert ‘10, one of many students employed by the grilles, prepares hamburgers for hungry Dunsterites.

Barred Books in Dunster Draw Criticism
