Birk ’98 Highlights Harvard Football
Buffalo isn’t used to winning, and fans of the Crimson aren’t used to bragging about the prowess of our football alumni. But we should be. Because one of the NFL’s most consistently productive offensive linemen is Harvard grad Matt Birk ’98, currently with the Baltimore Ravens and a former standout for the Minnesota Vikings.
Trench Warfare
For two straight seasons, the Harvard football team has lost the chance to win an Ivy League championship in the season’s penultimate matchup against Penn, resulting in second-place finishes for the Crimson. The squad plays a 10-game schedule this season, which it hopes will end with Harvard at the top of the heap.
