Free Food
Free Slurpees at 7-Eleven
To celebrate 7/11/2011, 7-Eleven is giving out free Slurpees today. Be warned, though—there's only room for 7.11 ounces in their special birthday cup. But hey, it's hot outside, and the Slurpees are free, so we're not complaining.
Free Ben & Jerry's on Brattle Street
Zipcar is driving around the Boston area handing out Ben & Jerry's, and it turns out one of its stops today is Brattle Street.
Free Hummus in the Square
Sabra is giving away free hummus samples and pita chips in the Pit. You'll need to hurry—they'll only be there until 6 p.m. today.
Free Cheese at Cambridge Queen's Head Pub
We're always fans of free food wherever we can find it. For today's freebie, visit the Cambridge Queen's Head Pub between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. The owner of a Vermont cheesemaking company will be speaking at an event hosted by the Food Literacy Project, and many cheeses made in New England will be available to sample.
Meet me at the Ice Cream Truck
A b.good representee gives milkshakes to two children attending the b.good and Ben & Jerry’s ice cream truck battle Thursday afternoon. This contest fundraises for the b.good Burger Brigade that is running the Boston Marathon on Monday.
Trucks Fight. You Get Free Ice Cream.
The only thing better than free ice cream is two forms of free ice cream. Today, you can try complimentary milk shakes and scoops as two Harvard Square businesses duke it out to see who makes the best frozen sweet.
Free Frozen Yogurt: One Hour Left!
To celebrate its grand opening in Harvard Square, Pinkberry is giving out free frozen yogurt tonight.
Snap Up Some Free Tea
If you're looking for a free drink this afternoon, hurry to the Pit by the Harvard T stop.
Give Blood, Get Burrito
This week, students can earn a free Qdoba burrito and other shopping discounts and help save lives at the same time. At Eastern Mountain Sports today and Friday, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., students can donate blood at the last Red Cross blood drive of the school year and, in return, receive a coupon for a free Qdoba burrito among other shopping discounts.
