Boston and Cambridge residents take part in a pillow fight on Cambridge Common. The event, held by "Boston's Mysterious Playmate" Banditos Misteriosos, attracted a turnout of over 1500 people.


A new fast-food vegetarian restaurant will soon open in the space vacated by Harvard Real Estate Offices, across from Apley Court and the New College Theatre on Holyoke St. At the moment , they are operating out of the Clover Food Truck on MIT’s campus.


Where to Eat on the Last Day of Restaurant Week

Sadly, Boston’s 2010 Winter Restaurant Week ends today. Since there’s really only day left, we thought we’d suggest a few local Cambridge options where you can enjoy either a two-course lunch for $15.10, a three-course lunch for $20.10, or a three-course dinner for $33.10. Even if you don’t have time, make time, as subsidized HUDS alternatives are few and far between.


The space formerly occupied by the Adidas store on Mass. Avenue closed this past December. It will be the new home of a TD Bank branch this summer.


The space recently vacated by Bombay Club will soon be replaced with another Indian Restaurant. Just downstairs, Shilla will be replaced with a Korean barbeque restaurant.

HEALING THROUGH GOOD FOOD

Harvard Bookstore hosted a small reading for Paula Butturini last night for her new novel "Keeping the Feast: One Couple's Story of Love, Food, and Healing in Italy". After a brief reading, Butturini signed copies of her new memoir.
