Julianne Moore, Hasty Pudding's 2011 Woman of the Year

Julianne Moore was honored by Harvard's Hasty Pudding Theatricals as the 2011 Woman of the Year. After a public appearance in Harvard Square, she was honored with the traditional pudding pot at New College Theatre.


Kyle J. Dancewicz '11 ducks as Benjamin K. Moss '13 gives a high five to Jonathan Finn-Gamino '12 during the Woman of the Year Roast yesterday. Moss, in costume as Mark Walhberg from Boogie Nights, and Finn-Gamino, as Mark Ruffalo from the Kids Are All Right, played two of Moore's co-stars from her previous films.

Julianne Moore, the star of films such as “Boogie Nights,” “The Big Lebowski,” and “The Kids Are All Right," has been named Hasty Pudding’s 2011 Woman of the Year.


HPT Gets a Taste of India

This winter, the Pudding gets a new flavor with the taste of the Orient. The Hasty Pudding Theatricals’ (HPT) 163rd production—which opens February 4, 2011—will spice up the lives of its audience members by taking them on an Indian adventure complete with forbidden love, brutal murder, and cosmic redemption.

The Bee space bids

No decision has been made on 45 Dunster St., which is currently owned by the Fly Club and leased to the Bee. The Chabad House at Harvard, the Hasty Pudding Club, and the Bee Club have all made bids for the building.
