Lowell’s hottest men are going shirtless. A new calendar, set to be released towards the end of the semester, will feature Lowell’s sexiest in the first ever “Lowell Swimsuit Edition.”

Climbing Craze
New freshman were invited to learn how to climb a rock wall on Saturday night in the basement of Lowell House. The event was hosted by the Harvard Mountaineering Club.
The Lowell House Bells
Every Sunday afternoon at one o'clock the Lowell House bell tower fills Harvard Square with a familiar song. Few, however, know the story of the bells or about the Lowell House Society of Russian Bell Ringers.
The original 17 Russian bells from the Danilov Monastery in Moscow were purchased in 1930 by Charles Crane, a patron of Russian Orthodox Art. This unique set of bells was subsequently donated to Harvard. In 2008, a bell exchange was concluded through which the original bells were returned to Russia and replicas were specially cast for Harvard at Voronezh. The bell in this photograph is called Mother Earth and weighs nearly 13 tons.

Harvard Housing Day 2010
Harvard upperclassmen were out in full form as they welcomed the class of 2013 to their newly assigned residential dorms Thursday.
Lowell House
Lowell House is close to the Yard, next to the MAC, and sometimes, too close to Nochs. While Lowell's detractors will complain about the Russian Bells (they’re only annoying on Sundays at 1 p.m.), there isn’t much to dislike about this Neo-Georgian beauty. If Lowell residents come to greet you on Housing Day, revel in the glory that the Housing Gods have bestowed upon you—for the next three years, you'll belong to a House that you'll be proud to show off to your parents and jealous peers.
Lowell to Occupy Floor of DeWolfe
Lowell House will occupy a floor of the overflow housing at 20 DeWolfe Street next year, reversing efforts over the past three years to make the House smaller and more contiguous, resident tutors said yesterday.
