Avoiding a Fall
Freshman Alex Fallstrom had a goal and an assist in Saturday’s win, feeding sophomore Alex Killorn the puck on a power play in the second period for what would prove to be the game-winner in a 4-3 nailbiter.
A Good Christian
Senior Jack Christian jumpstarted the Harvard offense Friday night, putting a slapshot past Rensselaer goalie Allen York just 18 seconds into the game. It was the first goal of the season for the defenseman, but it wasn’t enough, as the Crimson faltered in the third to drop a 5-4 decision.

Special Teams Failures Prove Especially Critical, Dooming Harvard to Last Place
Once known for the strength of its special teams, the Harvard men’s hockey team was not-so-special in last night’s 4-1 loss against Northeastern in the consolation round of the Beanpot Tournament at TD Garden.
LESS IS MORRISON
Freshman Conor Morrison scored his ninth goal of the season in a 4-1 loss to Northeastern last night at TD Garden. The Crimson dropped the consolation game of the 58th Beanpot tournament despite goalie Ryan Carroll’s 30 saves. The Huskies outshot their opponents, 34-29, and were one-of-four on the power play. Harvard was unable to convert on its six power-play opportunities, leading to the Crimson’s 14th loss of the season.
Killorn Instinct
Sophomore Alex Killorn scored early in the third period to tie the game at two, but Harvard faltered in the third period, going on to lose the game, 6-3. The Crimson sits eighth in the ECAC conference standings.

Junior Sam Bozoian had a career performance in Friday’s 5-2 win over Brown, registering both his first career goal and first career assist in the victory. Bozoian was one of five Harvard players to score in the balanced win as the Crimson broke its three-game losing streak against the Bears.
BIG STICK
Freshman Conor Morrison is the last member of the Crimson to have scored a goal, which came in a 2-1 loss to Princeton Jan. 29. The rookie forward also provided the only Harvard tally against Brown earlier this year.

The men’s hockey team travels to take on conference rival Brown tonight at 7 pm, and the time is ripe for a Crimson comeback. Harvard was last left reeling from a 6-0 loss to No. 14 Boston College in the semifinals of the 58th Beanpot tournament Monday night.

In the 58th installment of the Beanpot men’s hockey tournament, Boston College came out with focus. Harvard, on the other hand, looked lost at TD Banknorth, as it was trounced 6-0 by a fast and disciplined Eagles team, ranked 14th in the nation.

The Harvard men’s hockey team suffered a huge 6-0 loss to the Boston College Eagles in the first game of the 58th Beanpot Tournament at TD Banknorth Garden. The Crimson was plagued with penalties that gave the Eagles an edge throughout the game. Harvard hadn’t lost at the Beanpot by such a large margin in almost two decades, back in the 1990-1 season.
