After the loss of Louis Leblanc to the NHL this year, sophomore Alex Fallstrom will look to carry a heavier load for the Harvard men’s hockey team this season.


Visiting Swedes Defeat Crimson

In its first test of the 2010-11 season, the Harvard men’s hockey team was able to keep up with the visiting Swedish Under-20 team in an exhibition game at Bright Hockey Center last night. Sweden took the contest by a 2-1 count.


Grim Reaper

Junior defender Ryan Grimshaw, shown here in previous action, tied the game at one before the first period ended, but the Harvard defense was unable to stop the Swedish visitors from eventually scoring again.


Fresh Heirs

After losing captain Alex Biega, the team’s most valuable player and an All-Ivy League honorable mention blueliner, the Harvard men’s hockey team has bolstered its defensive ranks by adding three blueliners from the class of 2014. The Crimson also adds two young goaltenders to complement assistant captain Kyle Richter and senior Ryan Carroll.

Trio To Be Inducted to MA Hockey Hall of Fame

On Nov. 10 at 6 p.m., right wing Bill Corkery, center Bob McManama, and left wing Dave Hynes will meet up once again as the three are inducted into the Massachusetts Hockey Hall of Fame.


Louis Leblanc Signs NHL Contract, Leaves Harvard

After a year of college, many are ready to go back home and lay around for a bit. Like many of his classmates, Louis Leblanc will be heading home. But as a professional hockey player, he'll be doing anything but lying around.
