Harvard fell to Ivy League leaders Princeton at home on Saturday evening by a score of 4-1. After a steady first-half performance from the Crimson, the Tigers came alive in the second half, scoring three goals in eight minutes to earn the victory.


Harvard Men’s Soccer Outlasts Holy Cross in Thrilling Fashion

Harvard (5-4-3, 0-1-2 Ivy) was victorious in its last non-conference matchup of the season, outlasting Holy Cross (8-4-2, 5-1-0 Patriot) in an entertaining game in Worcester. The Crimson struck first and last in the matchup, with the Crusaders tying the game in both the first and second half before Harvard won the game with an outrageous first-time volley in the 88th minute.

Sophomore midfielder Willem Ebbinge advances the ball up the field in a match against Boston earlier this season. Ebbinge picked up two assists in Tuesday's game against Holy Cross, bringing his team-leading assist total to eight on the season.


Harvard Ties Brown in Grueling Overtime Match

For the fifth time in eleven games this season, Harvard played overtime on Saturday night after regulation was not enough to find a winner. After a hard-fought 110 minutes, the Crimson men had to settle for a 2-2 draw with Brown.

Men’s Soccer Emerges Victorious over BU, 2-1

Harvard held on to defeat Boston University by a score of 2-1 in a cross-Beantown matchup at Jordan Field on Tuesday night, with all three goals coming in the first 25 minutes of the game.


Safe Haven

Harvard relied on its defense on Saturday to battle the defending Ivy League Champions to a draw. Despite some close calls, including a shot that ricocheted off the crossbar for the Crimson, the game ended locked at 0-0.

Men’s Soccer Hangs Tough but Falls to No. 6 New Hampshire

Harvard fell by a score of 3-1 to No. 6 New Hampshire in a closely contested match on Tuesday night in Durham, N.H. In its final game before Ivy League play, the Crimson proved that it could match up with one of the best teams in the country.

Men’s Soccer Hands Stout Vermont Team Its Second Loss in Overtime Thriller

For the third time in its first six matches, Harvard played overtime after 90 minutes was not enough to find a winner. Unlike its other two games to go to overtime, the Crimson came out of this one victorious, sending Vermont home with a golden goal in the 107th minute from first-year forward Alessandro Arlotti.

Men's Soccer Prevails on the Road at Merrimack, Improves to .500

Playing its physically closest away game of the season, Harvard (2-2-1, 0-0 Ivy League) pulled back up to .500 in a night to remember for the visiting squad. Junior goalkeeper Gianluca Trofa made his mark in his first full game for the Crimson, notching an assist as well as 12 saves, one of which came on a penalty kick.

Double Overtime Ends in Heartbreak for Men’s Soccer as Harvard Falls to Northeastern, 2-1

On Tuesday night, Harvard played out a heartbreaking 2-1 extra-time loss versus Northeastern in its first game back on Jordan field since 2019. There was no shortage of action for fans in attendance, as the game featured a red card, a saved penalty, and multiple disallowed goals, but the crowd ultimately was not able to rally the Crimson to a victory.


End-to-End Overtime Does Not Determine Winner as Men’s Soccer Draws at Bryant, 1-1

Harvard battled through a hard-fought 110 minutes to secure a 1-1 draw at Bryant University on Saturday afternoon. The extra time ensued after regulation was not enough to separate the two sides. In the overtime session, neither team was able to find the golden goal despite both squads coming close in an end-to-end affair.
