April 2, 1929: Historic Engine Makes Debut in Square Today At exactly five minutes past one today a fire engine of the Cambridge Catamounts, historic New England fire-fighting aggregation, drawn by six "Fire B'hoys" will make its appearance on Harvard Square. The engine, the one to be used by the Hasty Pudding Club for its production "Fireman, Save my Child," will start from an unrevealed place on Church Street and go up to the Square.

Marathon Training, Cow Suit Style
Have you spotted this cow around Harvard Sqaure? If so, that's probably because he's actively training for the 2012 Boston Marathon. Underneath the costume is Christopher F. Allison '12, a Molecular and Cellular Biology concentrator who is aiming to raise $5,000 for pediatric cancer research and treatment at the Mass General Hospital for Children. Allison has partnered up with JP Licks, and in exchange for support from the ice cream shop has agreed to train for the marathon and eventually run the marathon in full cow suit garb.
