Posters Critique Impact of Smith Center Construction on Homeless

​Posters inquiring “Who took our space?” and “Where is Brian?” littered the temporary construction fences surrounding the Smith Campus Center this weekend as part of a Harvard Graduate School of Design student’s efforts to start a conversation about how current renovations may affect life in Harvard Square.

Clover's Back, Alright!

Get ready for the best news (and if this doesn’t qualify as the best news of your week, we can’t be friends) of this week, folks: the new Clover opened its doors for lunch today! That’s right, the beloved Clover that used to be on Holyoke Street moved about 60 feet to Mass Ave (where Yenching used to be) in anticipation of Smith Campus Center construction.


Bye to b.good

Cassie C. Wang ’17, Evan Hahn ’17, and Charlotte J. Solmssen ’17 enjoy a meal at Harvard Square’s b.good location before it shut it doors for good on Tuesday after more than 10 years of operation. The restaurant is looking for a new location in the Square to reopen after it was forced to close the Dunster Street location because of renovations to the Smith Campus Center.


Smith Center Renovations Displace Harvard Offices

​With construction on the Smith Campus Center set to ramp up later this year, Harvard administrative offices and businesses displaced by the renovations have recently moved to new temporary locations.
