Tomorrow is February 14th, which means that it is Single Appreciation Day or SAD—not to be confused with Seasonal Affective Disorder. SAD is the time to celebrate your singleness regardless of any vitamin D deficiencies. So here are a few things that you can do to ensure that you have a happy SAD.
OSUSHI Review
After weeks away for winter break, students trickled back to find warm solace and excitement amidst the frigid weather in Cambridge: new restaurants in Harvard Square! Among them were OSUSHI, a modern Japanese restaurant serving everything from tempura and sushi rolls to the small bites typically served at an Izakaya. OSUSHI, which opened in mid-December, also has a sister establishment at in Boston.
New Restaurant To Open in Casablanca Space
Local chef Michael Scelfo plans to open his own establishment in the space on Brattle Street previously occupied by the Mediterranean restaurant Casablanca, Boston Magazine reported last week.
Harvard Square Holiday Fair
The 27th annual Harvard Square Holiday Fair showcases the hand-crafted art-works of some of the best artisans of New England. Hand crafted gift items including jewelry, art photographs, pottery, cards, and boxes were available for sale.
Tasty Burger Opens With Student Deals and Late Nights
A menu featuring reasonably priced burgers, hot dogs, and shakes—along with a $10 Starvin’ Student deal that includes a hamburger, beer, and fries—drew a constant stream of customers to the official opening of Tasty Burger, Harvard Square’s newest restaurant, on Sunday.
