"Long-distance relationships are tough, but they can be worth it. They can work out. Initially, we weren’t going to date because I was going to college, but it ended up working out."

František secretly flew back to Slovakia for spring break of sophomore year, arriving on a Sunday. He surprised her at the church in the small valley that had special significance for them.
