Meet Your Amaker
Harvard coach Tommy Amaker returns to Michigan for the first time since he was fired as the Wolverines’ coach in 2007. He led Michigan to three NITs, winning the tournament in 2004, but never reached the NCAA tournament in his tenure. The Wolverines are 50-55 since Amaker left.

Esther Lofgren ‘07-09 has had to overcome numerous obstacles throughout her rowing career, but each time, she has responded from her disappointments. Her latest accomplishment is winning the gold medal for the U.S. in the eight at the World Championships.

Junior Niall Janney, shown here in earlier action, earned two individual wins in Harvard’s season-opening sweep of Cornell and Dartmouth on Saturday. Janney won the 200-yard individual medley in 1:49.48 and the 200-yard butterfly in 1:49.12 and was part of the second-place 200-yard medley relay.

Blast from the Past
Radcliffe alumnae both recent and of an older vintage reunite this weekend to race once again at the Head of the Charles Regatta. Two crews, one of graduates from the last 10 years and one of rowers ages 50 to 70, will participate in the Alumnae Eight races.
