After an impressive performance at the NCAA Northeast Fencing Regionals, Harvard fencers put the team in a good position for next week’s NCAA fencing championships.
Co-captain Jeremy Lin led all scorers with 26 points, as Harvard (20-6, 9-3 Ivy) cruised to a 78-58 win over Yale (11-18, 5-7) at Lavietes Pavilion Saturday night.
Aisha Price, a freshman, competes for both the women’s soccer and water polo teams. Price was a strong contributor on a women’s soccer team that finished a nine-win season with an Ivy League championship. This winter, she has also established herself as a scorer on a Crimson water polo team that has yet to lose a game.
The Crimson (13-7, 4-2 Ivy), employing a lethal zone defense, stifled the Bulldogs’ offensive attack all night while creating plenty of offensive opportunities in the paint 94 feet away in a 88-65 win Friday at Lavietes Pavilion.
