Senior shortstop Sean O’Hara went 3-for-3 at the plate with two RBI and a pair of walks yesterday against Yale, helping his squad earn its ninth win of the season in a 10-3 thumping of the Bulldogs. The Crimson will head to Fenway Park tomorrow to face Boston College in the Beanpot title game.
Sophomore third baseman Danny Moskovits, shown here in earlier action, batted in the game-winning run of yesterday’s first round Beanpot matchup against UMass with a single in the ninth inning. The Crimson will play crosstown rival BC on Tuesday in the tournament finals at Fenway Park.
Junior pitcher Brent Suter turned in a complete game against Brown yesterday, allowing three earned runs and seven hits while striking out seven. The 6-3 Harvard win improved Suter’s record to 2-3 on the year, as the Crimson swept the Bears on Sunday for its fifth and sixth wins of the season.
Despite taking the early lead, the Crimson fell again after its bullpen could not hold on in the final two innings. Still, junior southpaw Brent Suter, pictured above, pitched well in his 3.1 innings of work. Coming into the game in relief, he stuck out five while allowing just two hits.
