After a long winter season, three of the four Harvard crew teams will have their first competitions this weekend.

As most students head out to warm destinations or back to their hometowns, many of the Harvard sports teams are gearing up for trips to warmer weather as well, or are dedicating time to focus on their athletics without the stress of academics.

As the Harvard men’s lacrosse team chases a berth to the NCAA tournament, every game will be important in its pursuit of the Ivy League title or an at-large invitation.

This weekend serves as a huge transition for a number of Harvard squads as they prepare for postseason play.
