Sophomore forward Noel Painter, shown above in earlier action, scored in the 40th minute of the Harvard field hockey team’s matchup with Columbia on Saturday afternoon at Jordan Field. Painter added an assist in the 70th minute, but it was not enough, as the Crimson fell to the Lions, 3-2.
FREE BIRD
Freshman forward Jake Freeman is knotted in a three-way tie for first place on the Harvard men’s soccer team with three goals. Freeman and the Crimson will take on Holy Cross on a date to be determined.
