Complaints about the little inconveniences which we are compelled to suffer have been the subject of countless communications and of much comment in our columns. In notable instances our continual firing has had effect-witness the board walks which were given us last year-in others our prayers have been unavailing. The library remains open only during the day time.

Our entreaty now is one that can be granted without great expense, and surely with great justice. The showerbath arrangement in the gymnasium is totally inadequate for the large number of students who desire to use it. The room is too small in the first place; in the second there is always good reason to doubt the ability of the faucets to produce anything but ice-cold or boiling hot water, and frequently one of these is taken from us. It is really a great shame that the condition of affairs in the bathing-room is so bad. If anyone who has any influence which could remedy this trouble chances to see this request we call upon his benevolence to do something to alleviate the evil of which we complain.
