The clay-bird cup went to Mr. Slocum for the second time.

The summary follows :

Match 1, 20 clay birds, 18 yards, 5 angles; cup match. First, W. H. Slocum, 17; second, W. L. Allen, 16; third, F. B. Austin, 14.

Match 3, 10 glass balls, 21 yards, 5 angles. First, Austin; second, Slocum; third, Allen, Palmer.

After the conclusion of these contests several informal matches were shot, in which the scoring ran fairly high.
