Harvard University School of Veterinary Medicine, Session 1887-87. - We esteem it a privilege and a pleasure to call the attention of all interested in the welfare and advancement of veterinary science to the announcement of the Harvard University School of Veterinary Medicine, Session 1886-87. This time honored institution of learning, whose fame is world-wide in all that relates to science and art, has, in connection with its Medical department, established a Veterinary School, presided over by a veterinarian of rare accomplishment, ripe judgment, and unlimited practical experience - qualifications that are exceptionally beneficial in directing the course of studies to be adopted by students. This, coupled with the facilities afforded for original research in experimental medicine which Harvard alone affords, and its reputation as an educational centre, both in the past, present, and future, is sufficient guaranty of worth. We wish it every prosperity. - Spirit of the Times.
