Weld, '89, will manage the 'varsity football team.

Harvard will play Dartmouth in Cambridge, on the 30th of October.

'91 has its class meeting at 7 this evening in Upper Massachusetts.

Second trial of candidates for the Glee Club takes place tonight in Roberts' Hall.

Professor Emerton will meet the members of History 10, this morning for the first time this year.


Professor Norton has requested all freshmen who are taking Fine Arts III, to drop out of the course.

All candidates for the freshman crew are requested to assemble, at 2 o'clock tomorrow, in the gymnasium.

There will be a postponed meeting of the 'varsity nine, next Tuesday evening, to elect a captain.

The following addition is made under History 20: (f), Topics in the History of Diplomacy since 1815.

Examination in Physics A for students excused by the Faculty, will be on Monday, Oct. 15th. at 10 a. m., in room 9, Jefferson Laboratory.

Freshmen will please notice on the bulletin board the assignment of seats in Sever 11 for English A. Every man is expected to occupy his own seat on Saturday, Oct. 6. There is as yet no assignment of seats for special students.

The make-up examination in English A (for students excused from the final examination last June) will be held Saturday, Oct. 13, at 9 a. m., in Sever 1.
