Harvard-Tech. Road Race.

Definite arrangements for the Harvard-Tech. bicycle road race were made last Friday afternoon at a meeting of delegates from each club. Tech. was represented by Messrs. Hayden, Williston and Hutchins, and Harvard by Brown, Bailey and Greenleaf. The race will be held Saturday afternoon, November 31. The course has not been definitely chosen but will probably include Chestnut Hill and Massachusetts avenue.

The terms of the race are a little peculiar as Tech. does not know who her fastest riders are. Each club will be permitted to enter as many men as it chooses, but only the first five men from each club are to count. The first man at the finish is to count ten points the second, nine points, and so on. The club getting the most points, thus computed, will win the race. There will be a trophy for the winning club in the shape of a banner worth fifteen dollars, which is to be provided by the clubs jointly. It is believed that this race will stimulate the interest in bicycling and thus increase Harvard's chances of winning again at Mott Haven.
