'Varsity Lacrosse Team at Work

Yesterday afternoon there was a very informal gathering of lacrosse enthusiasts on Jarvis. The members of last year's 'varsity team played against the outsiders. The game did not contmue for more than a half hour, and after some general practicing, the men dispersed. The members of the former team present were:

Griffling, '89, Kilbert, '89, Hewes, '90, Welds, '90, Towle, Med. School, S. H. Thorndike, '90, Huntress, '91, Rourke, '90.

Among those in the second team were: Naumberg, '89, Vorse, '89, Davis, '91, Morton, '91, Stead, '91. Griffing, '89, was captain of the 'varsity, and Davis, '91, had the scrubs. It is hoped that many others, besides the ones present yesterday. Will attend the practice meeting this afternoon.
