The class in wrestling will not commence until about six weeks before the first March winter meeting.
It is not likely that the athletic association will attempt this year to organize regular contests for patting the shot and throwing the hammer. Last year so little interest was shown in the undertaking and so few presented themselves as competitors that the association considers further attempts useless.
Yesterday Mr. Lathrop started the class in general development which he has conducted during the winter for the past four years. The class will commence with light work which will increase as the season advances. At present the class starts off a four o'clock with dumb-bells and Indian-clubs, followed by tumbling, jumping and general work. This class is open to all.
