It will be seen by the governing rules for the annual Harvard-Yale races that the choice of days for this year rests with Yale. Rule VI, passed in 1886, is as follows:
"In 1886, Yale shall have the choice between the first Thursday and Friday after the last Wednesday in June as the day set for the annual race; after which the choice between the aforesaid days shall rest alternately with Harvard and Yale."
The race this year will probably take place on Friday, June 29th, and not on Monday, July 2nd, as previously arranged.
