The freshmen beat Exeter yesterday by a score of 12 to 9. The game was interesting throughout, as the batting was very heavy on both sides. The two home runs by McClung and Locke of Exeter went over the farthest fence. Wood, Dean and Peckham batted well for '91. The principal feature of the game was the umpiring.
