The sophomore class met in Upper Massachusetts last evening and adopted the following resolutions:
WHEREAS, It has pleased God in his divine mercy to remove from our midst our esteemed riend and classmate, Argyll Fraser, realizing that we have lost in him a kind and genial companion, we, the class of 1892 of Harvard University, do hereby
Resolve, That by his death we have been deprived of one whose earnest and conscientious work commanded the respect of all with whom he was associated, and whose early life gave promise of a bright and successful future;
That we bonor and praise the courage with which he persistently strove to obtain a collegiate education in the face of obstacles which would have discouraged a less determined student;
That we feel deeply the loss we have sustained and wish to express our sorrow at his untimely death, and our sympathy for his bereaved family;
That the secretary be instructed to forward a copy of the above resolutions to his father as a token of our sincere regard and commiseration.
